Hailing from one of the least windy places on earth, I am an aspiring wave sailor trying to reach the highest level of windsurfing by traveling where wind and waves meet to create the greatest imaginable playground.

whoa frank…so poetic…..hahaha..no seriously, can’t wait for the next post
I’m so glad i found your blog. We have been sailing the same amount of time (about 3 years) and i can relate to learning the sport on your own with no real assistance. My first season (summer 2007) i took a Go 139L to the Gorge and after just over a week of sailing came back home with a 79L and 101L board and the ability to water start. Lets just say i have watched Gem Hall’s ‘Beginner to Winner’ many, many times. The technology is apparently light years better than a decade ago, but this sport is incredibly difficult to learn!
I will be living vicariously through your adventures whilst sitting at my office desk this winter…
happy sailing.
